Rhode Island Legislative Update
The House and Senate are currently in recess.
The Primary Election is September 14, 2010, with the General Election following November 2, 2010.
A record number of candidates are running not only for General Assembly seats ,but also for state-wide offices such as Governor, General Treasurer and Attorney General. Regardless as to who is elected to fill the offices, the state faces difficult economic challenges, but, at the same time, has a tremendous opportunity to change the course of the smallest state in the country
